After graduating as a physiotherapist from the highly regarded Aukland University of Technology, Kate Goswell dove straight into private practice where she refined her private practice skills, winning her a university prize for most outstanding clinical practice.
Early in her career, Kate focussed on treating sporting injuries, spinal rehabilitation and post-surgical care, following her own pregnancies and recovery, she has gained a special interest in Women, Men's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
Kate provides treatment for conditions such as Urinary Incontinence, Bowel Incontinence or constipation, over active Bladder, pre- and post-natal care, vaginal prolapse, painful sex and pelvic pain syndromes.
Kate is also experienced in men's pelvic health including treating pelvic pain disorders, bladder and bowel dysfunction as well as pelvic floor rehabilitation following prostrate/urinary surgery.
Kate believes a holistic approach is required to treat the pelvic floor and associated dysfunctions. Her pelvic floor sessions often include treatment such as massage, dry needling, mobilisations, strengthening and stretching.
Kate and her family recently made the move from Sydney to the Northern Rivers region for a lifestyle change. Outside work, Kate enjoys playing netball, attending Pilates classes and taking advantage of our stunning beaches and beautiful nature walks.
