Registered Nurse

Janet Murray is a confident and highly experienced nurse who has excelled in numerous clinical and community roles.

Between 2009 and 2014, Janet worked at The Sanctuary intensive therapeutic retreat where she provided holistic, one-on-one nursing management of clients requiring acute drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Janet has also been responsible for the education of nursing staff at Southern Cross University and at John Flynn Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.

Janet previously worked as a senior intensive care curse and ECMO (life support) specialist at Glenfield University Hospital, Leicester United Kingdom; where she was part of a team involved in the setting up and facilitating a bereavement aftercare service, as suggested by the World Health Organisation to intensive care units internationally.

Janet holds a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Health Care Practice, as well as qualifications in teaching and assessing in clinical practice and palliative care.

In her spare time, she has previously been an active member of the Richmond River Sailing Club, enjoys bushwalking, hiking and the beach.
