Tom Apin
Client Support
Tom Apin has a wealth of experience working in the alcohol and drug rehabilitation field.
Between 2010 and 2014 he was a registered care worker at The Buttery rehabilitation facility, advocating for clients and supporting clients in crisis.
From 2014 and 2018, Tom also worked as a caseworker at the facility, between 2014 and 2018 and was responsible for day-to-day management and support of clients, as well as intake assessments. Tom also worked as a trainer and aftercare support person at The Sanctuary private rehabilitation treatment program for seven years.
Tom’s career experience also includes working with complex needs youth and older adults living with mental health challenges.
He is currently completing a Bachelor of Social Welfare at Southern Cross University and is a qualified tennis coach, avid golfer and fisherman.
